How long can I borrow items from the library?

Items from our general circulating collection are 4 week loans. Current SAIT students and staff are eligible for up to three renewals and all other patrons are eligible for one renewal (provided there is no requests for the item). The loan period varies on other items such as laptops, textbooks, phone chargers, etc.
Items may be recalled by another patron after you've had it for 2 weeks. If this happens, you'll receive an automated email from our system advising you of the new return date for the recalled item.
